MNP starting atlast!
Atlast MNP (Mobile Number Portability) starting today (25th November) Sigh!
I was waiting for this moment since 1st April, 2007 (It is the date when TRAI had first time said that they would be launching MNP on that date) i.e. when i entered my first year of engineering and now i am in last year; it really took a very long time for TRAI to begin with MNP. Because of that old date, i didn't changed my number for a long time, but later i came to know that TRAI's not gonna do it soon and then i changed my number, as usual ;-)
Starting with Haryana today, MNP will start in Maharashtra from New Year's Eve!
Hoping for the best in interest of subscribers :-)
But there are some pros and cons about the same.
PROS:
We'll get a variety of options to select from a wide number of operators as per our needs and priorities.
CONS:
Once we've changed the operator, then we can't switch to other operator till 90 days are completed, which is really very sad :-(

Belated Birthday Celeb...
Today’s day started really well at mid-night with my belated birthday celebrations as well as rohit’s, but zaheer’s same day b’day :-P
Enjoyed the drive to “Village” with friends in shrikant’s car with all college gossips and the very old shit about my extra ordinary stupid college. But bitching about the college is what I like and so do the other students and that is what the college is meant for :-)
Atlast reached Village, hopefully with no rain; but it was closed till then as we’d reached late.
Then planned to go to “Sufi” and thank God, it was open. Sigh!
We were waiting for the moment (12’o clock) to cut the cake. When I saw the cake, I was very much surprised to see photos of three of us (Rohit, Zaheer and myself). The gals had bought that sort of cake coz me and rohit hadn’t yet celebrated our birthdays’. I really liked that cake especially containing our photos! :-) Ate the chocolate cake which was really tasty (some people din’t liked it coz of OUR photo :-/ )
Finally, cake cutting ceremony was over and we went out of Sufi without even ordering a single thing, Hehehehehhee….;-) Luckily, the waiter didn’t said anything to us for such idiotic entry & exit and moreover we’d borrowed his knife for cutting the cake…hehehee….
